Gladys was born on January 17, 1939 in Emery S.D. to Harold & Lydia (Triebwasser) Koth. She married Wesley Edin in Wadena on April 20, 1974. Gladys worked various jobs. She taught country school for 2 years, worked at Battle Lake Outdoors as a seamstress for a number of years, and she and her husband owned and operated Wesley's Meat Processing in Browerville for nearly 10 years. She spent a few years doing over the road truck driving with Wes. For several years, Gladys and Wes volunteered, doing mission work in Texas with the Net Menders group from First Baptist Church during the winter. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Gladys was an avid reader, an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed gardening.
Gladys is preceded in death by her parents, brother James and husband Wes in June 2017.
Gladys is survived by her siblings: Calvin Koth, of Wadena, Barb (Don) Johnson of Verndale and Sharon (Bill) Clasen of Arlington, SD, brother-in-law Walter (Aleta) Edin of Upsala, sister-in-law Maxine Koth of McKenzie, ND and many nieces and nephews.
